How ENet Achieved their Cloud-native Vision and Improved Billing Agility with Aria Billing Cloud

ENet’s billing requirements

As part of a broad digital transformation project, ENet embraced a fully cloud-native infrastructure by implementing Salesforce Communications Cloud. As part of this project, they needed to modernize their billing processes with a new, cloud-native billing solution that would integrate seamlessly with their new Salesforce ecosystem.

Driven by their commitment to innovation, ENet sought a billing system with the scalability and flexibility to support advanced billing models and new monetization strategies. To continue delivering rapid product launches – sometimes within hours – they required a solution that matched the speed and agility of their growth. So, in addition to a cloud-native architecture and pre-integration with Salesforce Communications Cloud, ENet’s new billing system needed to provide the agility, flexibility and scalability to support their expansion and long-term vision.

Why ENet chose Aria

In September 2023 at Dreamforce, the annual Salesforce conference, the ENet management team was introduced to the Aria-Salesforce AI-optimized concept-to-care solution, in which Aria is integrated into a Salesforce instance via an API. ENet recognized the potential of Aria Billing Cloud to meet their needs due to its cloud-native architecture, pre-integration with Salesforce, wide range of monetization capabilities and billing processes, and the speed with which the solution could be stood up. The strategic nature of the Aria-Salesforce relationship was also an important factor for ENet, giving them further confidence in this best-of-breed solution.

The implementation

Following a swift contracting process, Aria developed an aggressive implementation schedule that would enable ENet to begin benefitting from its investment in Aria Billing Cloud in just over a quarter.

The impact of using Aria

Aria has integrated seamlessly into ENet’s existing ecosystem, enabling ENet to rapidly launch an array of new products and services across its fixed and postpaid lines of business, including innovative payment and banking options specifically designed for ENet’s customers. The project also included custom automated order-to-cash processes.

From an operational perspective, ENet has seen significant improvements in bill accuracy and timeliness – both of which are important key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business. ENet has also enhanced its ability to audit billing processes, minimizing revenue leakage, and can now review and advise on predicted invoices more effectively, preventing bill shock and strengthening revenue assurance. With Aria’s Technical Account Management (TAM) service, ENet has reduced the need for in-house technical resources, allowing the team to focus on strategic initiatives.
