Rating and Charging

Single-Dimensional Rating

Charges calculated based on a single usage attribute (e.g. volume, duration, or count). Example: $0.10 per MB of data used or $0.05 per minute of call time.

Reprocessing & Remediation

Supports reprocessing of transactions at the file, account, product, date, or individual level for post-processing remediation.

Contract-Based Pricing

Enables tailored pricing for enterprise agreements, whether pre-negotiated or dynamically generated through CPQ tools.

Tax & Financial Treatment

Applies geo-contextual tax rules (internal or external engines) and supports AR/AP flows at the transaction level before billing and settlement.

Balance Management

Manages both monetary and non-monetary balances across prepaid, postpaid, and hybrid models, applying usage against available allowances and credits. Supports auto-renewal and rollover of unused balances with configurable caps through Aria Billing.

Multi-Dimensional Rating

Charges are calculated based on multiple usage attributes simultaneously (e.g., usage volume, type, time, geography, quality, behavior, customer profile, account attributes and more.). E.g. $0.08 per MB during off-peak hours, $0.12 per MB during peak hours.

Dynamic Promotions

Applies real-time promotions and discounts during usage processing, adapting offers based on customer behavior, service context, or predefined rules (tiered rating). Enables time-limited deals, volume-based discounts, and personalized incentives to drive engagement and loyalty.

Brand & Channel Rating

Rating logic by brand, reseller, channel, or other business dimensions.

Shared Allowances

Manages pooled allowances, entitlements and discounts for families, teams or departments with roll-up and rollover rules and processes.

Outcome-Based Charging

Correlates charges with business outcomes (e.g., SLA adherence, engagement level, uptime) and applies automated adjustments for key performance indicators.

Evolution-Based Pricing

Dynamically accumulates usage data to automatically determine future pricing tiers and discounts. Covers models like forgiveness policies.

AI-Optimized Best Price

Uses AI/ML to automatically apply the most favorable pricing option when multiple valid offers exist (AI/ML function development is separate).

Loyalty Tracking & Conversion

Tracks loyalty accrual based on usage and enables automated or rule-based conversion into service allowances.

Revenue Collaboration

Partner Revenue Sharing

Splits revenue with partners, affiliates, and suppliers using any mechanism, from flat rates and percentages to tiered structures.

Partner Markups

Supports prospective tiering with configurable markups based on partner contribution level or other factors.

Commission Models

Applies commissions at account and order level for multiple roles, with flexible time-based application models and tiered commission setup options.

Revenue Assurance & Audit

Provides record and event-level audit and reconciliation for traceable, granular, compliance-aligned revenue attribution.

Fraud & Anomaly Detection

Uses AI to flag anomalies (e.g., SIM abuse, spoofing, unusual traffic) using eventing engine, ensuring leakage is identified and plugged.

Provides access to all data and functions for external automation and integration via API.

Receive continuous system and process updates from the Allegro engine.

Predictive Triggers


Generates predictive triggers for contextual offers, discounts, alerts, workflows, and incentives based on usage conditions including for example burn-down rates, usage spikes or unauthorized access.

Customer AI Guidance

Enables Aria Billie agents to monitor service usages and recommend next-best actions to optimize pricing plans or minimize bill shock.

Operational AI Guidance

AI tools to assist in managing suspense records, synchronization errors, and re-rating tasks directly.

Service usage refers to any measurable customer activity or consumption of a service – such as data transfer, API calls, minutes used, subscription entitlements consumed, feature activations, or event-driven interactions – that can be spliced (if fragmented), aggregated, analyzed and/or quantified for billing, rating, charging or analytics.
