Sungard Availability Services® Selects Aria Systems to Enable Faster Time to Market for Innovative Recurring Revenue Offerings

Increases Product Innovation and Speed to Market without Added Headcount

San Francisco, CA., March 31, 2015Aria Systems, which helps enterprises grow recurring revenue, today announced that they have been selected by Sungard Availability Services® (Sungard AS), a leading provider of information availability through managed IT, cloud and recovery services, to modernize their enterprise monetization and billing operations to keep pace with their expanding business. Aria was selected after an extensive evaluation process that included a number of cloud-based subscription billing and on-premise recurring revenue management providers.

Sungard AS selected Aria as their global cloud-based solution, replacing multiple regional on-premise billing platforms. This move allows greater flexibility, supporting global rollouts of usage-based and subscription monetization models in the short time frames required. To be successful, Sungard AS needed a global billing approach that would facilitate faster time-to-market of recurring revenue and usage offerings at scale. Aria’s flexibility was key to the selection, enabling easy creation of new, tailored offers through re-use of existing components. With this in place, Sungard AS can now scale their product offerings globally and avoid the burden of managing multiple regional systems.

Sungard AS also looks to Aria to improve the way it engages with customers over the lifetime of their relationship with the company. With Aria, Sungard AS invoices can show precise usage details, customer service interaction notes and promotional offers. Aria’s capabilities enable Sungard AS to engage with its customers across the myriad of channels and revenue moments that occur over the lifetime of a customer relationship.
