Mobile World Congress 2015: Day 3 Recap of #MWC15

Three days into Mobile World Congress, with just one more to go, and it’s safe to say that Aria Systems has rocked the show (and social media) with evening beach parties and a “selfie” competition that has everyone talking.   But amongst the madness, business has maintained its serious note. Deals have been discussed, hands shaken, and cards exchanged. The Aria word about the importance of maximizing growth through recurring revenue has been vastly spread.

MWC, which has traditionally been a mobile communications show, has evolved tremendously. Today it showcases some of the world’s major technology breakthroughs. From wearable devices to connected cars and homes, mobile technology is at the heart of worldwide innovation. As an industry, it connects billions of people to the transformative power of the Internet and mobilizes every device we use in our daily lives.

From Ford and Sony, to Symantec and Verizon, every industry vertical was represented. MasterCard spoke about mobile payments, Huawei talked about wearable tech. But whoever they are and whatever they do, they all have one common denominator: monetization. Billing solutions remain critical to business and billing solutions that can be implemented quickly, without significant maintenance and high implementation costs, are on trend.

For Aria, MWC has reiterated that the company’s message around active monetization is resonating with the audience. The constant booth footfall, the meetings, the inquiries about partnerships, and the Aria team’s sore feet are evidence that this company means business. Viva Aria!
