Customer Success
—In November, Aria Systems announced that from October 2008 to October 2009, subscription revenues grew more than 72 percent for Aria Billing customers. The incredible growth of sustainable, subscription revenues was enabled and supported by the capability and flexibility of the Aria Billing and Subscription Management Platform, and achieved during a time of profound weakening of the global economy.
—Aria saw continued customer growth across a wide range of industries including financial services, telecommunications, consumer electronics, social networking, SaaS, media, gaming and more. Demonstrating the broad applicability of its billing capabilities, Aria is now managing subscriptions and billing for organizations that process fewer than 100 transactions per month, as well as organizations that process millions of transactions per month.
—The company showcased key customer wins and new deployments at organizations like Hi-Rez Studios, an independent game developer, and IMN, a SaaS provider specializing in content-driven e-communication services for industry leaders like MetLife and Volvo Cars North America.
Company Achievements
—Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), a key indicator of the health of a SaaS vendor, grew more than 300% in 2009. In the third quarter of 2009, Aria Systems was recognized for its rapid growth when it was named to the Philadelphia 100.
—The company opened a Western U.S. Headquarters in San Mateo, CA, the heart of California’s “Silicon Valley.”

Rapid Product Evolution
—Aria’s team of billing industry veterans took advantage of Aria’s pure SaaS architecture to rapidly deliver significant product enhancements. Version 5.0 of the Aria Billing and Subscription Management Platform added support for multi-level distribution channels, and a new graphical control panel to make it fast and easy for administrators to define product plans and services, manage accounts, and create ad hoc reports to understand product uptake and subscriber behavior.
