Tom Dibble

President and CEO

Tom Dibble

As president and CEO, Tom Dibble is responsible for managing overall operations and driving company strategy. A proven leader with a unique understanding of the SaaS market, he has more than 20 years of enterprise experience. He joined Aria Systems in 2009 from Oracle Corporation where he served as vice president of worldwide channels and alliances, as a result of Oracle's acquisition of BEA Systems in May of 2008. Prior to Oracle, Dibble was vice president of worldwide channels and alliances at BEA Systems. In this position, he led the global team responsible for BEA Systems' business development and indirect revenue. Before joining BEA Systems, he managed business development at several high-growth, venture-backed companies. Dibble began his career working for Goldman Sachs and Company. He holds a degree in economics with honors from Syracuse University.

Paul Henderson

Finance

Paul Henderson

As vice president of finance, Paul Henderson is responsible for the company's financial operations and management. Prior to joining Aria Systems, he spent five years as senior director, worldwide revenue controller at SuccessFactors, where he helped oversee the company's IPO in 2007 and acquisition by SAP in 2012. Henderson previously served as global revenue controller at Yahoo!, where he supported the company's revenue growth from $700 million to more than $5 billion. He has also held financial management positions in the healthcare field. A designated CPA and CFA, Henderson started his career at the public accounting firm Grant Thornton. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master's in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Brendan O'Brien

Co-founder

Brendan O'Brien

As co-founder of the company and head of product architecture, Brendan O'Brien is responsible for product innovation within Aria Systems' cloud billing and subscription management platform. A developer for more than 20 years and the "father" of cloud billing, he has pioneered database-driven, enterprise-grade web applications for the medical, financial, non-profit and Internet Service Provider industries working for companies including Medical Manager, Wright Express and LaserLink. O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and music from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jim Alexander

Implementation Services

Jim Alexander

As vice president of implementation services, Jim Alexander is responsible for all client implementations of the Aria Subscription Billing Platform. A product management expert, he previously led this function for Aria Systems, as well as served as vice president of customer and order management products at Amdocs, where he provided strategic direction and leadership across the U.S., Israel, India and Vietnam. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's in Business Administration from California State University, Hayward.

Derek Choy

Engineering

Derek Choy

As vice president of engineering, Derek Choy is responsible for leading the engineering team and guiding the technologic development and quality assurance of the Aria Platform portfolio. Prior to joining Aria Systems, Choy spent eight years leading the billing development organization at eBay, where he was responsible for the development and business operations of the company's billing and payments platform, providing real-time rating, billing and payments services to more than 80 million customers globally across eBay, PayPal and other eBay companies. Before eBay, he served as a manager at Accenture, consulting with Fortune 500 companies on engineering and operations needs. Choy holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from Imperial College, London, and a Master's in mechanical engineering from Stanford University with a focus in computational fluid dynamics.

Oleg Ganopolskiy

Product Operations

Oleg Ganopolskiy

As vice president of product operations, Oleg Ganopolskiy is responsible for ensuring that Aria Systems' enterprise-class cloud billing and subscription management platform infrastructure provides the highest level of security, compliance, performance, capacity and reliability to enable the company's global customers to manage recurring revenue subscriptions. Ganopolskiy joined Aria Systems from Nokia Corporation, where he was responsible for operational capacity, planning, analytics and modeling across the company's Global Services Platform. Prior to Nokia, he managed technology operations for AOL and spent eight years in operations at eBay. He has held senior technical roles at Oracle Corporation and Nordic Systems, Inc. Ganopolskiy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics from University of Ukraine.

Mike Gerardi

Channel Sales and Business Development

Mike Gerardi

As vice president of worldwide channel sales and business development, Mike Gerardi is responsible for the development of the company's partner ecosystem. With more than 15 years of sales, implementation services and channels experience in the financial systems software industry, he has made significant contributions to high-growth startups as well as large, established organizations. Prior to Aria Systems, Gerardi developed key partnerships and delivered significant revenue for companies including Cartesis (acquired by Business Objects) and OutlookSoft (acquired by SAP). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Loyola University Maryland.

Jon Gettinger

Marketing

Jon Gettinger

As senior vice president of marketing, Jon Gettinger is responsible for Aria Systems' global marketing strategy including product marketing, channel marketing, demand generation and corporate communications. Gettinger has more than 20 years of experience marketing and selling business software applications to multi-billion dollar enterprises, including in his most recent role as head of marketing for Accept Software. Prior to this, he led marketing for Fortify Software (acquired by Hewlett-Packard), where he grew the enterprise customer base from 200 to more than 1000, and launched Fortify on Demand, the company's first SaaS offering. Gettinger studied Computer Engineering at Case Western Reserve University.

Rob van Es

Sales

Rob van Es

As senior vice president of worldwide sales, Rob van Es is responsible for Aria Systems' sales and worldwide sales management. Prior to joining Aria Systems, he spent two decades managing sales for high-tech startups leading to successful acquisitions by F1000 companies. van Es built and led successful sales teams in both Europe and the US at start-ups like Hearsay Social, Fortify Software, Rational, Pure Software as well as global enterprises, like HP and IBM. He holds a Master's in Economics from Maastricht University in the Netherlands and a Bachelors of Arts in Marketing from Business School Nederland’s in the Netherlands.

Riccardo Vicari

Riccardo Vicari

As vice president of EMEA sales, Riccardo Vicari is responsible for expanding Aria Systems' reach into the global marketplace. With nearly two decades of international business development experience in the Enterprise IT Software and Solution sector for the telecom, energy and financial services industries, Vicari brings a deep understanding of the unique needs of markets around the world. Prior to joining Aria Systems, Vicari was general manager and senior sales director within the European operation at Comverse, a $1 billion global billing and VAS solution vendor for the telecom sector. Before Comverse, Vicari led several successful start-up operations for many key players in the telecom software industry, including Intec Telecom Systems (now CSG International), Axiom Systems (now part of Cisco), and Tech Mahindra's European affiliate Servista. Vicari graduated in MIS and Business Studies from Liverpool John Moores University.

Cary Platkin

Legal

Cary Platkin

As vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, Cary Platkin is responsible for managing all of Aria Systems' legal matters. Platkin has represented Internet and software companies in Silicon Valley for more than 15 years. Most recently, he managed the legal department as Lead Counsel for energy management software company, C3 Energy. Prior to this, Platkin founded a successful technology law practice focused on companies in the software and software-as-a-service (SaaS) markets, including Adobe, NetSuite and Marketo. He has also served as in-house counsel at EMC, Siebel and Wired. Platkin holds a B.A. from The George Washington University and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco.

Ed Sullivan

Ed Sullivan is the visionary behind Aria Systems' success since the company began in 2003. His knowledge and experience helped Aria Systems establish itself as the market leader in on-demand billing and customer life cycle solutions, currently supporting millions of customer accounts in more than 236 countries. Sullivan's entrepreneurial spirit and innovative ideas have led him to build several successful companies. He was the Founder and President of LaserLink.net, the world's first and largest Virtual Internet Service Provider (ISP) with more than one million end users. LaserLink was acquired by Covad Communications in March 2000. Sullivan currently serves on the board of NetQOS and on the advisory board of Covad Communications (DVW) a publicly traded provider of voice and data services. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.

Lars Leckie

As Managing Director at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Lars Leckie has played a key role in the firm's investments in SaaS, virtualization, cloud and mobile technologies. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad in 2006, Leckie was involved in founding and operational roles at start-up companies. He was a co-founder of AutoFarm (now Novariant), where he was in charge of strategy, product marketing, business development and building the sales team across three continents. Currently, Leckie sits on the board of the SIIA (Software Information Industry Association) and is the co-chair of the C100 (Canadians in the Silicon Valley). In addition to Aria Systems, he currently sits on the board for Kiip, Piston Cloud Computing, PLUMgrid and Innovative Leisure. Leckie holds an Engineering Physics degree from Queen's University (with Honors), a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University and a Master's in Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of business.

Bruce Cleveland

At InterWest, Bruce Cleveland focuses on investments in the software and services sector with a focus on analytic applications and Software as a Service (SaaS). Prior to InterWest, Cleveland was one of the original members of the Siebel executive team. At Siebel, he held numerous executive positions including SVP and GM of Products, SVP and GM of the OnDemand and SMB divisions and Senior VP of Marketing and Alliances. In the latter capacity, he is widely credited with creating the most effective alliance organization in the enterprise software industry.

Cleveland also held executive positions in engineering and product management at Apple Computer and Oracle Corporation, and prior to Oracle, he held technical support and management positions at AT&T. Cleveland attended the United States Military Academy, West Point, and graduated from California State University, Sacramento.

Dave Labuda

Founder / Former CEO

Portal Software

Dave Labuda co-founded Portal Software in 1994, creating the first real-time billing and revenue management solution for internet and communications service providers. As CTO, he led the architectural design and product strategy of the company. After stepping into the CEO role in 2004, he successfully sold the company to Oracle in 2006. Labuda then served as CTO of Oracle's Communications Global Business Unit until February 2008, providing architectural vision for the new organization and acting as a key advisor on several strategic acquisitions. He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and has 10 patents issued with several more pending.

Ray Rothrock

Venrock

Ray Rothrock joined Venrock in 1988 and has been actively involved in more than 40 investments for the firm. He presently serves on the public board of Check Point Software and a number of private company boards, including CoreTrace, Imperva, PGP, RedSeal Systems and Transonic Combustion. In addition, Rothrock serves on the Board of Trustees of the Texas A&M Foundation, where he chairs the investment committee, as well as the Visiting Committee of the MIT Nuclear Science and Engineering Department.
